I am a Nora Roberts fan. She writes the most beautiful stories about women and romance without compromising just the right amount of drama and adventure. Her trademark amazing trilogies are the ones that I hold close to my heart.
The holidays have allowed me to catch up on some reading. And thanks to the wonders of book sales, I found this gem for a fraction of its original price. Even if this isn't exactly my favorite trilogy from her, it didn't disappoint me one bit.
It was engaging, exciting and moving. She introduces semi-cliche however intriguing characters, and develops them beautifully. Their stories all become unique and powerful. And yes.. they're all about strong, wonderful women.
I love that she has wit and humor incorporated even in the most romantic situations. She is soooo good at making me fall in love, and then leaving me inspired.
Oh yeah.. books do that to me.
Happy Holidays everyone!
